Goodbye Mexico!

I promise, we spent more than 2 days here! Just a dash of that “online editing magic” that makes it appear rushed. After 8 days of luxurious sunshine, its time that we wrap up our getaway.

We have had another wonderful stay at the Bahia chain of beautiful, all inclusive resorts, enjoying the beach, the pools, the food, the friends we met, the darts, the ping-pong, and the snorkelling as this short vacation wraps up! We feel very blessed that we are lucky enough to be able to do this; where Kevin and I get to run off on short notice for no other reason than to enjoy each other’s company without interruption in a beautiful place. We’ve had a little bump or two in the weather, getting torrential downpours one afternoon, but even that was fun! Waiting through pools and watching the little rivers develop and flow down has been fantastic.

Meeting the Mexican monkeys were certainly a highlight, and learning that there are alligators, at least there are signs for alligators, has been enlightening to us, and reminds me that that is not a place that I want to go for a run! Still, we always love leaving, and we love coming home, and we have had a date night every single night, and we have had wonderful times together and met wonderful people. Again, we are blessed to be with each other, and have this wonderful life.
